In 2025, after a period of accumulation, I learned more about areas such as 3D modeling, sound design, CG, and level design. I pursued this multidisciplinary knowledge so that, as a game designer, I could communicate more effectively with my teammates in collaborative projects. Moving forward, I hope to continue deepening my understanding of game development and to work closely with my team members, and I believe that pursuing a master’s degree would be an ideal next step.

In 2024, I began learning more about game development, including pixel art, sketch-style illustration, and game animation. I also participated in multiple game design competitions, using these experiences to challenge myself and connect with other game development enthusiasts.

In 2023, I returned to school and transferred to the Art and Technology program, where I began my journey in game development. I started playing games widely, learning about the game production process, and began studying game programming.

In 2022, fortunately, things took a turn for the better. I took a year off from school to work and intern, and I also saw a psychologist to work through my confusion. During that year, I recognized my previous immaturity and discovered the career I truly wanted to pursue—making games. I also successfully convinced my parents to support me.

In 2021, I seemed to enter a period of confusion and a low point. I increasingly felt lost, as the things I was learning at school felt more like studying for the sake of studying. I hadn’t found something I was truly passionate about. I preferred learning driven by my own interests.

In 2020, I faced my first real challenge. In the first half of the year, I struggled to adapt to suddenly being in an open university environment. To cope, I participated in many clubs and student organizations, trying to integrate into campus life quickly, yet I still felt a sense of confusion. In the second half of the year, the outbreak of the pandemic worsened the situation. Being isolated alone at home made me feel unprecedented discomfort, and I experienced some mental health difficulties.

In 2019, I began studying Electronic Information Technology. On one hand, I was influenced by my father, who is a computer teacher; on the other hand, I wanted to learn coding to make it easier to create my own games.

Before 2019, I simply enjoyed playing games and didn’t yet have a clear or comprehensive understanding of game development. Although I occasionally created small tabletop games and analyzed various games, these efforts were unstructured and fragmented.

My learning journey is still ongoing, and I will continue moving forward on the path of game creation…
